We are not your mother here, believe it or not. It is time to clean a weed pipe, though, if you haven’t done so in a while.
Many materials pass via cannabis pipes, bubblers, and bongs. There is, of course, marijuana both before and after it is burned. Quite an amount of spit, ash, and a host of other bacteria and germs may make a comfortable home in your piece as you inhale.
Up until someone spits and spreads germs from the previous day, puff-puff-passing is all fun and games.
Ash is quite harmful for your lungs and tastes awful.
Every other microbe has the ability to proliferate and mutate into even more harmful microbes. When they are swimming around soiled bong water, this potential is significantly higher. That film you noticed during the bong rip yesterday? We term that stuff biofilm. You don’t want to breathe anything that you wouldn’t want to knock back in a shot glass.
Men, don’t feel embarrassed. Everyone of us has occasionally neglected to clean our pieces. But now is the time to develop the practice of cleaning your weed pipes, especially if you recently purchased a brand-new glass pipe or are feeling like doing some spring cleaning.
How Often Needs to Be Your Pipe Cleaned?
To what extent you smoke determines the answer. Regular smoking requires regular pipe cleaning. Minimum once a week, we speak.
Though those who don’t inhale every day don’t need to clean a weed pipe as often, you might as well clean it out and avoid accumulation while your pipe is in your sock drawer.
Whatever your smoking habits, remove any black resin that appears around your piece right away. Really gross.
Changing the water in a bong, when?
Changing the water will make regular cleaning of your bong less required. If you use a bong for smoking at least once a day, you should also change the water in it at least once. (All right, so once a day is plenty.)
Changes in flavor will happen faster than the cannabis will get into your system. Your strain will taste better with clean, bacteria- and mold-free bong water. If you don’t mind spreading viruses, think about the quality of your cannabis at least!
What Can You Use to Clean Your Pipe?
It takes hygiene of your pipe to keep your hits smooth and your cannabis flavor. These are some workable techniques and equipment for pipe cleaning:
- Isopropyl Alcohol and Salt: Two of the most popular and efficient methods of cleaning your pipe. Resin and tar dissolve in alcohol, but salt removes tough residue by acting as an abrasive
- Boiling water: This will thoroughly clean any glass or metal pipe. Steer clear of extremes of temperature to prevent glass from breaking. To get rid of any last bits, boil for 20 minutes and then use a brush or pipe cleaner
- Pipe Cleaners and Brushes: Specifically made to get into every nook and crevice of your pipe. Using them and warm water or cleaning solutions, swirl away buildup
- Vinegar and Baking Soda: Work exceptionally well to substitute salt and alcohol. To some extent, leftovers are broken down by chemical reaction. After spending thirty minutes in the liquid, brush and thoroughly rinse your pipe.
Normal cleaning improves your smoking experience and prolongs the life of your pipe. For always pure, tasty hits, make sure your pipe is cleaned often and completely.
